This is the official website for the Turkish Cypriot Basketball Federation(TCBF).

 TCBF was founded in 1981.

We currently organise amateur local league fixtures for 11 age categories.

We have over 1000 registered players, around 50 basketball coaches, and 40 referees taking part in our leagues.

For a small country like North Cyprus, with total population of 200.000, we are running an extensive Basketball learning and developing programme.

We have leagues for over 18s, Under 18s, U16, U14, and U12. This year we will also have a league for 10 year olds. We have all these categpries for boys and girls.

We also run Basketball schools in parallel with Turkish Federation called ‘12 Giantmen’ for ages from 4-12 in all 5 regions of North Cyprus.

We regularly organise seminars and training exercises for our coaches and referees. Our coaches and referees also have the opportunity to take part in international seminars taking place in Turkey.

We are constantlt targeting to develop our coaches, referees and players and are very eager to participate in competitions and games at all categories with countries or teams at similar amateur level to us.
